Help:Templates
|
For adding new mixes, you basically just need a template form that needs to be filled with the File Details, the Tracklist and the Categories. You can enter the according template form with the edit toolbar buttons, then fill the fields. There are 2 versions possible:
One file
Use the button.
Imaginary example: "2006-03-12 - Tyree Cooper @ Tresor" is a House set in 1 file.
Template | Input Example | Result |
---|---|---|
== File details == {|{{NormalTableFormat}} ! dur ! MB ! kbps |- | | | |} {{Player | }} == Tracklist == <list> </list> [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:Tracklist: none]] |
== File details == {|{{NormalTableFormat}} ! dur ! MB ! kbps |- | 0:50:44 | 53 | ~147 |} == Tracklist == <list> [00] Artist - Track [05] Artist - Track ... </list> [[Category:2005]] [[Category:Tyree Cooper]] [[Category:Tresor]] [[Category:House]] [[Category:Tracklist: incomplete]] |
![]() |
Note: The 5 Category fields are just the default. Copy-paste if you need more, remove if not filled.
Also we set Tracklist: none as default, mainly because you shouldn't forget to choose the correct tracklist state category.

== File details == {|{{NormalTableFormat}} ! Pt. ! dur ! MB ! kbps |- | 1 | | | |- | 2 | | | |- | | | | |} {{Player|mode=multi ||t1= ||t2= }} == Tracklist == <list> </list> [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:]] [[Category:Tracklist: none]] |
== File details == {|{{NormalTableFormat}} ! Pt. ! dur ! MB ! kbps |- | 1 | 0:45:26 | 41.6 | |- | 2 | 0:45:02 | 41.2 | |- | | 1:30:28 | 82.8 | 128 |} == Tracklist == <list> </list> [[Category:1993]] [[Category:Tanith]] [[Category:Tresor]] [[Category:Hard Techno]] [[Category:Rave]] [[Category:Tracklist: none]] |
![]() |
Note: The 3 rows of the file details table are just the default. Copy-paste if you need more, delete if not filled. The last section is needed for the total of all part files. This is important for comparing the mix with other existing versions e.g. one file only.
Mix page example
Separate parts
When a mix page has separate parts which are not part of the same mix, you don't need to add a row for the totals. Example
To check the source code of mix pages you can always go in the [edit] mode of the page.
