It’s a 21 this week 😉..... brilliant fun going through the Trip Hop Era ... from the masters Krush and Shadow to pioneers Massive Attack and Pressure Drop. listening to Ballistic Brothers’ Hooligan Soul was a revelation and pulling out some Raw Deal and Nicolette made sense to my ears. The genre defined an era for me ... Bar Rumba That’s how it Is sessions... The Blue Note in Hoxton... the rise of new post acid house blogs and the beginnings of the Internet and Straight No Chaser being an essential guide. It was international too ... Japan with Major Force and UFO and the US with the turntablists vinyl collectors and all that Alternative hip hop culture. The Art and the fashion and the skaters all joined together at an incredible time....think about it... It was pretty special indeed. The show will be up on @worldwide.fm
