Privacy Statement

MixesDB (mixesdb.com, the "service") takes the protection of your private data seriously and wants you to feel comfortable while using the service.

The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for MixesDB.

If you feel uncomfortable or have concerns about your privacy data on MixesDB you are advised to stop using all MixesDB services immediately.

Private data

MixesDB does not give out any of your private information except what you have already made public (profile info, comments, etc.). MixesDB does not give or sell e-mail addresses or any other personal data to any third-party.

Cookies

MixesDB uses cookies to deliver content specific to your interests. The cookies also save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit mixesdb.com.

Note: Evil websites could use cookies to harm your computer or personal data. MixesDB does not. Nontheless: If you think MixesDB cookies could harm you or your computer in any way: Disable cookies for mixesdb.com in your browser settings.

Tracking scripts

Some text links or linked images in the page icons section in the upper right, in the sidebar on the left and on the Main Page are pointing to a redirect script (http://tools.mixesdb.com/redirect.php...). MixesDB tracks clicks on such links to improve the user experience. Only the user name, date, source page and target page are tracked. If you do not want MixesDB to gather such information, do not click links to the redirect script.

Except the above MixesDB currently uses no further analytical tools.

Embedded players

Embedded players are products by third parties. As such they may track personal data, e.g. by offering personalized features such as leaving comments or favoriting.

Some track all kinds of user behaviour by using scripts like Google Analytics.

Social plugins

Google +1 Button

If you enabled the "Google +1 Button" in your user preferences, see the privacy policy note on Help:Google +1 Button.

Other plugins

Currently MixesDB makes no use of other social plugins. Linked images in the page icons section in the upper right ("buttons") such as Facebook, Google Search, SoundCloud and others are just simple links to external websites or resources. MixesDB does not send or share any private data to these third parties. You interact with these on your own risk and should read the according privacy policies of the individual websites or resources before using the buttons on MixesDB.
