This video features audio I recorded at Osaka’s Bayside Jenny during Aphex Twin’s first visit to Japan. For a long time, this recording was believed to be from a show at Tokyo’s Liquidroom on January 2, 1997, but Aphex Twin was in Australia on that date, making it impossible for him to have performed in Tokyo. Someone had mistakenly shared the recording I made as a “Tokyo” performance with the incorrect date, which triggered AI hallucinations.
