The second verion has lots of Spanish radio talking over the musis. Terrible!

I don't understand that fully. Both versions are full of "Ibiza Radio" Jingles, so it seems both are recorded from that radiostation. But in the second version there are much more talkovers and things like short interviews with "reporters" in the club (i guess so, i don't understand Spanish). Why are there different versions from the same station? Is one a repeat broadcast?

It seems like there are different versions of many (most?/all?) of this years Coocon Ibiza recordings. Are they all from Radio Ibiza? Is there a way to distinguish between the ones with and the ones without talking?

all rips suck :D with the difference that the "ets" crew releases the crap as it was ripped (no edits, gain etc) and there is "evil" (some guy you can never trust and who sprewads lots of fake sin the past) who edits out the talking and calls that quality while it's still just the same crap sound quality.

he cuts the talking out, that makes sense. i wondered about the skips in the dj mix. that are apparently the parts where it is edited.

but we can really blame the rippers. Ibiza Radio seems to do a really bad job in broadcasting. it's really unbelievable. they seem to have the right to broadcast from all Cocoon @ Amnesia Parties this year and spoil it with all that talking. who wants to hear this?

a suggestion for this page:

maybe the ripping crews could be included as category in this page. this would make it more clear which categories exist

i'm absolutely against including crew information in any way. the file details are unique. nothing else needed. remember, it's not our task to database the ftp and crapblog scene releases. it would easily end up in chaos. re: ibiza radio: I think it's part of the contract to make the broadcast crap and useless in order to be allowed to broadcast at all.

why not database the scene releases. we care about correctness, don't we? so why not include all known information about the file source in the page. isn't deleting information is against the principles of correctness?

and the scene releases are the source where most of the mixes here (at least the younger ones) are from anyway.

maybe that could also save you some work you could get the rippers to participate here themselves. it seems like the wiki-idea hasn't grown fully here yet, about 90% of the mixes are submitted by you, isn't that a lot of work?
