CaPiTalizAtiOn doesn't matter. You can use Wildcards. Combine terms with AND* / OR. In combination use e.g. sven väth AND ( techno OR tech house ) [note the blanks].

You can't search words with 3 or less letters, neither stop words. But try in combination: instead of Derrick May use "Derrick May". AND is assumed by default ("abc def" = "abc AND def"). Use quotes for the "correct order of words". All category names can be entered here as well (except from Style and Misc).

Quick Help

This will list or exclude pages that are included in the categories you enter.
You can search for short-word-categories like In The Mix or WMC.
You have to know the category names you want to enter (for unsure spellings try Wildcards*).
Be sure to at least add the beginning of the category name, i.e. ricardo villa* or ricardo* not only villa*.
Remember you can enter everything from the main categories like artists, clubs, styles, years etc.

Tracklist should be: Result pages will be in the ticked category(ies). Select a time: Choose "2002" and the result will only be pages in that year category "1990s" = pages in 1990, 1991, .... 1999, 199X "earlier" = 1979 or years before.

Tick the namespace(s) the results should be in. For mix pages only (Main), Category and File are relevant. If you're logged in, change the defaults in your user preferences/Search.
